i just got married and my husband has to file bankruptcy, i have my own credit and he has his, there is nothing that we have jointly. does this mean that i will have to file bankruptcy also? if not will this hurt my credit?

Yes get an annulment FAST!.....Hubby probably married you to try and protect his stuff.

Guess you never checked into his finances...

Chances are he will MOOCH off of you because they will take everything he has to pay off his debts...nice guy!
