Ladynred**************....What is the name of your state?KY You responded to a question I had regarding my income tax return and stated that the trustee is likely to ask for it. What If I receive my return prior to filing Bankruptcy? I was hoping to be able to use it to pay for my attorney? Thanks in advance |

| If you get your refund before you file AND you use it to pay necessary expenses and your lawyer, there's nothing for the Trustee to take. Just be prepared to show EXACTLY where all of the refund went - keep EVERY receipt.

| Thanks again for your advice. If I qualify for Chapter 7, they will not keep any future returns after discharge, correct? Thanks |

| No, not if you file at this time of year.
