What is the name of your state? ohio i filed a chpt 7 myself for my husband and i. i didn't think about putting my husbands life ins. and 401k on the exemptions. is it possible to add to exemptions without the trustee thinking you were trying to hide them.

erisa (pensions, 401k, etc) stuff isn't even part of your bankruptcy estate.

i wouldn't bother amending it, more hassle than it's worth, most trustees aren't going to get upset about something they can't have anyways.
