| YOUR credit history does NOT automatically get pasted onto his just because you get married. His past credit history stays his, your past is yours - period. WA is a community property state, but that ONLY applies to assets/debt you incur AFTER you get married.
The only affect your BK should have on your husband-to-be is if you go for joint credit - he'll likely have to go it alone for a while.
People have to get over this idea that marriage merges everything - it simply is NOT true.
