money I received....need to know....

What is the name of your state? PA

I am getting ready to file Chptr 7 ......in June of 2002 I received $9600 from the sale of my deceased mothers house......needless to say it is all gone.....I used some of it to pay some bills....gave some to my daughter who was moving out on her own and spent the rest on normal living expenses**************I just wondering if the trustee finds out about that what will happen?.....any advice is very welcome**************.

Hopefully, your decision to pay 'wannas', like giving money to your daughter, instead of paying the 'gottas' (your debts) will get any bankruptcy petition you file tossed out of court.

But, in reality, your spending the money foolishly will probably have no affect on your petition. Darn it!!

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

JETX, you have apparently never had a child living at home, especially an adult child. There are times when the money used for that purpose is a definite a "gotta". I have helped both of my daughters move out and it was my sanity at stake. One has 3 kids and the other a lazy husband. I considered the money well spent.

Racer72,
The only thing JETX never had is a HEART. He definitly has some unresolved issues which he needs to address on another type of board. He seems to take great pleasure in other peoples problems. jross2

"JETX, you have apparently never had a child living at home, especially an adult child."
*** Au Contraire, I have two adult kids who have returned home occasionally. In fact, a 22 year old is current 'back home' due to injuries from a car accident... and his resulting lost job. And yes, I do look forward to his 'freedom'. But not to the point of sacricing payments to creditors.

The issue is..... is it more appropriate to help a child to move out (and nothing was said about the need for this move), or to pay OVERDUE bills that the debtor has received benefit from.

"The only thing JETX never had is a HEART."
*** I disagree. I also have very little patience for people who use OTHER peoples money, then whine and cry when time comes to repay that debt. And for you 'newbies' like jfloss..... I do realize that there are some out there that do deserve some allowance on their debt.... when it is a result ENTIRELY of 'the cards dealt in life' (like health issues, TRUE unemployment - not those that find work inconvenient - etc.).

"He definitly has some unresolved issues which he needs to address on another type of board."
*** Yeah, right?? Is your real name Dr. Phil or you just a 'wannabe'??
