More BK questions..What is the name of your state? AZ Last June, I started selling Mary Kay Cosmetics, mostly to family members and a few friends. 1.) How will this affect me when I file BK? (I didn't even make enough to receive a 1099 form) 2.) I plan on filing BK7 in Feb. I have a couple people who want me to place an order for them, which means the money will have to go thru my checking account? Will there be any problems with this? Thanks! |

| I doubt that what you make with Mary Kay would be enough to have any impact on a BK filing unless you were making LOTS of money. Like Avon, unless your in the upper echelons, the reps don't make LOTS of money.. LOL - I used to sell Avon.. I know ![]() The key is.. what's your profit margin on the products ?? You have to buy the products at some cost, right ? The profit is all that would matter and if its not a large sum, it shouldn't be a problem.

| Ladynred, I buy the products at 50% off and then sell them. I think I made less than $500 in the six months I was selling. I mostly sell so that I can get a discount on products for myself. Does this sound like I will be okay when I file? Thanks again |

| Its not a significant amount and its not steady income, it should be fine.
