Mortgage sold to new bank...

What is the name of your state? NM

How's this for a strange twist? Chapt 7 no asset. Went to 341 on Fri 18th, everything went smooth and simple, trustee said "good luck to you" as we were leaving. Felt pretty good about it.

Arrived home and in the mailbox found a letter from our mortgage company that they sold the note to Well Fargo (which was one of our creditors). Will take effect on the 1st Dec. We did not reaffirm with Ohio Saving because I spoke to a bankruptcy rep and she said it was not necessary, just keep the payments up and good to go.
So has anyone had this kind of thing happen and could it present any problems? I don't want to expect anything to go bad but just curious if because WF was one of our creditors could it cause a problem?

Any insight or experiences along this line greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would immediately ask Wells Fargo to send you a reaffirmation agreement regarding the property you're paying on, although they may not send u one unless you agree to repay all.

I'd not reaffirm anything unless your district requires it.
Speak with your lawyer but, if your district is a "walk through", all you need do is continue to make your payments to keep your home.
