Moving To A New StateWhat is the name of your state? FLORIDA / NJ I AM MOVING FROM NEW JERSEY TO FLORIDA. I WOULD LIKE TO FILE FOR PERSONAL BANKRUPTCY WHEN I GET TO FLORIDA. WOULD THERE BE A PROBLEM OR WOULD I HAVE TO WAIT A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME? THANKS |

| Yes, you have to wait. There is a residency requirement to file in your new state. You will have to be a resident for a LEAST 91 days before you can file in FL.
