My account is Frozen!

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MI

9/16 My Creditor (CITICARD/CITIBANK) garnished my check 9/30 they attempted to take all of my funds out of my personal account. I called my bank and they told me that my funds will be on hold for 21 days. I have filed for Bankruptcy TODAY. My lawyer said that once I submit the info that I filed BK to my bank, the hold will be releaseed. I called the bank and they said that's not true. So will I get my money back or not???What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

What did your attorney say when you posed this question?

So, what did he say when you told him what the bank told you?

You're correct... it won't be 'instantaneous'....

Your attorney will file your case with the court. The attorney will then write the bank a letter, stating that you have filed and including the court and case number... and asking them to return the funds. It might take another day or two after they receive to actually return the funds.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

He (my attorney) made it seem as if the money will be back the next day... I wondering will they give all of it back??? the money was a refund from school and a work check...

Was your BK actually filed with the Court, or did you just give your info to your attorney?
