Need to File BankruptcyWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Now live in Florida. Just moved here from Michigan. Do to financial issues we had to start our life over again, so we moved to Florida and I need to find out what to do to file bankruptcy here even though all are debts originated in Michigan. Can I claim student loans? Auto loan from a federal credit union? What do I do about my house we left behind and how do I turn in my car to the federal credit union (if possible)? |

| Student loans will survive bk. Deficency balances on a mortgage or auto can be discharged. Don't worry about returning the car. The lender will repo it. Most bk lawyers give free or low cost intial consultations. Talk with a few and get your options explained. |
