New Bankruptcy law & affects on poor/me

Ohio:

I have a Question about the new Bankruptcy bill that has been passed. Its supposed to take six months to be in affect I know that. My Question is will it affect everyone or only some.
My situation is I had no medical insurance (I do now) for like over six years and I have probally $120,000 in medical bills. I have just recently been determened to be total disabled and im on social security disability were I get around $650.00 a month to live on Plus I have to pay a $150.00 spend down to get Medicaid insurance. I'm 40 years old and I have to live with my parents were I really do pay $300 for rent etc. That leaves me $200.00 dollars a month.
Do you are anyone think that the law might not affect me or do I have to some how try and come up with the $800.00 dollars or more to go Bankrupt now before the new law takes affect and possibly hurts me. It will almost be impossable to come up with that money, But if I had then I could.
PLEASE help me! I really need this info, Thank you very much.
I have never gone Bankrupt before.
