Not sure where this goes

What is the name of your state? NC

I have finally got my debt under control and will be debt free without bk or judgements so far in the next 6 months.

That being said, my husband and I have separated. In the past 3 months he has charged up over $10K in CC debt. I am not on any of his cards and he is not on any of my debts. I have also learned that he has had a car wreck last week that might result in some major penilties and I feel that he will end up filing bk within the next yr.

So my question is, since we have nothing together, if he does, how do this effect me since I can't get a legal divorce for atleast another year from him. Again we share no joint accounts or property together.

I don't want to hurt what I have worked so hard for. Last week I traded cars and while I know the dealer wasn't supposed to let me see my beacon score it was a 782 and I want to buy a house after the divorce.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
