Please Help!!!

What is the name of your state? OH

I filed for Bankruptcy December 2004 and didn't finish paying the lawyer until October of this year. I already have a court date (Dec 13, 2005) to meet the creditors. My question is if i file my taxes next year would the trustee take away my tax refund? Pls pls help me! I can't sleep at night thinking about this. Thank you so much in advance!

Depending on the size of your tax return, plus it is getting closer to the filing date, there mght be a chance that the trustee will...

Thanks for the reply Who's Liable. I have a 5 year old daughter so we usually get $3500. I talked to my lawyer and he said the same thing that you told me. That they may take away $2000 of that $3500. I really don't understand why they have to take that money away. For what? Are they gonna give it to the creditors? So you think there's a 100 % possibility that the trustee will take away my refund even if I have a 5 year old daughter?
