Please help "old credit card debt"

Please help!
I have defaulted in credit card payments of a balance of around $8000 six years ago. I have left the place I used to live in and the credit card company and the bank were unable to find me for more than six years. I would greatly appreciate if you could advice me on the statute of limitation for such situation.

Need to know what state, because the SOL is different for each one.

Need to know what state, because the SOL is different for each one.

This Michigan SOL is 6 years for both Oral and Written contracts, and the time begins from the inception of the contract, or from the date of your last payment, whichever is later.
