Post Chapter 7 Question

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? NC

My wife and I filed Chap 7 May 04 and discharged in Aug 04. She had a credit card wth 0 balance and not required to list it. Since discharge, we have used the card here and ther for small items and paid them off rapidly (<30 days). Recently, we had to use it for some car repairs (2 cars and both broke down). After using the card, the interest rate jumped from 9% to 24% in 2 months-June/July 05-NO the payments were never late!! Last month, they changed the due date to 5 days before payday (paid once a month) and then slapped on a $50 late fee when payment was late. When the next payment was made, they deducted the late fee and said Pmt made was not the minimum and slapped on another $50 late fee!!!!! My wife is LIVID--said not to pay anymore--house and cars in my name and her credit is shot due to chap 7, so they will get nothing anyway....is this true or what should we do?
