Question

"Preserving" small business records

Hi all! I live in Delaware.

I have a somewhat complicated question. First some background info:

1. Recently divorced by husband who chose to live with another woman whose basically supporting him.

2. XH owns small business acquired after marriage.

3. Business is going bankrupt but I have no knowledge that XH has filed for business bankruptcy.

4. XH has "misused" business credit cards basically "financing" relationship with GF (one of the reasons business going bankrupt) with trips, furniture, computers, etc.

Now my question is what can I do to preserve those business records before he "gets rid of them"? I know its not legal but XH considers himself "above the law". I spoken to my divorce attorney but he's clueless -- its just out of his experience. I've heard of something called "receivership" but don't know if it applies.

I don't even know if I'm posting in the right place so please advise. Any replies would be appreciated.

Thank you,
cyana
