| If you still own the property then you still have to pay the property taxes.
From the Nolo book on Ch 7:
"Property taxes aren't dischargeable unless they became due more than a year before you filed and the taxing authority hasn't assessed your liability within the previous 240 days. But even if your personal liability for paying the property tax out of your pocket is discharged, the tax lien on your property is unaffected."
