Question

Question about discharge

What is the name of your state? OH
I have a question in regard with discharge. I just checked pacer and the Trustee is requesting discharge of his duties in a no assest case. States Trustee final report no assest. Does this mean we will be receiving our discharge. Sounds to me like yes, but not sure. This case has be dragging on for some time now. Any replies would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It means the Trustee has notified all your creditors that yours is a no asset case. Creditors have 60 days from the date of your 341 meeting to file objections. Once that 60 days has passed w/o objections, technically you are discharged. The last thing to be done after that is for the Trustee to formally close your case.
