Question

questions about civil judgements and bankrupcty

What is the name of your state?
Illinois

I had a civil judgement against me in the state of Indiana for breaking a contract and damages to a house that I was buying on contact in the amount of $3,000, my question is can this judgement be put into bankrupcty? I am a stay at home mom, I do not own any property except a car that my daughter and I own jointly and she has possition of and I have a few hospital bills and some other small debts pry to and at the first of my marriage that I would like to file on just me not my husband. The judgement is just against me not my husband as are the debts I wish to file on. Any help would be helpful.

Thanks

Thanks. Yes I think so this "friend" is again taking me back to court in Indiana to see about wages--I have none of my own--and property--I have none. To get to this court I have to drive 2hours or so and my husband either has to get the day off or find an other way to work. If I do not show up she puts it off and has me served with a subpoena to appear on the next date. To me just to have her not be able to take me into court every 2 to 6 months is worth it.
