ReaffirmationI am confused about reaffirmation (Kansas). We have a loan on our vehicle and we want to reaffirm it, what form do I need to put the vehicle on? Secured, Exempt? Please help ![]() |

| List it as a secured debt, let your car loan company know that you are filing BK but you have all intentions of reaffirming the debt. Whether you can reaffirm or not is not entirely your choice. The car lender has to agree(most do) and If you are representing yourself in Bk court, the trustee has to approve the reaffirmation also, the trustee is looking out for your best interest so if he/she doesn't think you can afford it, they won't approve the reaffirmation agreement. |
