reaffirmed auto and VA loan on house

What is the name of your state?GA

I have received my discharge and reaffirmed my auto, which I bought at a high interest rate and over valued price because I had bad credit. I have since learned that my BK attorney should have tried to renegotiate the terms, i.e lower what is owed closer to the real market value and lower the interest rate. Being it was an older model used car, the finance company I have been told probably would have struck a deal rather than having the car surrendered and then having to try and sell at wholsale, if at all. If I had known I could do this I would have have really considered surrendering the car. I felt my BK attorney did a real good job, as things went real smooth. Did he just bungle this and now I just have to live with it, or do I have any recourse? Also, I did surrender my house back to the mortgage company which was a VA loan. I read somewhere that the VA should have been listed in BK filing papers and was not, only the mortgage holder. Should my BK attorney have listed them? Thanks
