Reaffirmed my mortgage and d/c ex's

What is the name of your state? Texas

I had a ch7 d/c in June '04.

I reaffirmed my mortgage. I discharged the loan on my ex-husband's mobile home. He still lives there and never refinanced as ordered by the court.

The loan on the mobile home is still reporting on my credit report as a current loan. My mortgage is reporting as reaffirmed and current.

I would like to refinance my mortgage now that I have re-established credit and am almost 2 years post-bk.

My problem is that every mortgage broker I have talked to says that the mobile home loan that I discharged is still going to be figured into my DTI ratio and still has the potential to ruin my credit. Essentially, the stupid mobile home loan is going to hinder my mortgage refinance. What recourse do I have? I thought that since I discharged the debt that I was no longer liable and could just dispute the loan as IIB with a zero balance.

Should I take my ex-husband back to court and force him to figure out a way to refinance this home loan? He has told me that he has tried to refi and he and his SO (don't know his marital status) have been turned down. He says that he is upside-down on the loan. What is the name of your state?

So is a loan that is discharged in bk not considered a discharged loan in the eyes of lenders?

Can someone PLEASE help? Has anyone here had experience with discharging an ex-spouse's home loan? Were you able to get another loan?
