Refund for overpayment?

I just realized today that I may be due a refund for overpayment on my chapter 13 which was discharged last week. First of all, do they really give refunds for overpayment? If so, how soon do they get around to it? I'm sure they wouldn't be in any big hurry, but it would be nice to have a general idea. Thanks! (BTW, I'm in NY.)

When you called the bankruptcy court and asked this question, what was the response?

Do you mean the trustee? Because I have no idea how to get in touch with the court, and back in the beginning of this, my lawyer told me that any questions should be directed to him. Unfortunately, he is out of town at the moment.
