Relief from Stay and AbandonmentWhat is the name of your state? Ohio I'm in the midst of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filed mid-March with a meeting of creditors hearing in early May. My attorney is unavailable until Monday. In today's mail, I received a notice from the attorney representing the mortgage company for my modular home that has been my residence. It's a motion for a relief from stay and abandonment. What does this mean? I'm thinking they are looking to be able to repossess the home as I don't intend to reaffirm and I am fine with that. I'm in the process of moving to another place anyway. What should I do about this motion? |

| Nothing. If you're giving up the property, and moving out, there's not a thing you need to do - let 'em have it.
