Hawaii state of.

If a resident of hawaii had a bank account with a bank - and then had a loan from the bank discharged by bankruptcy.

Would it be safe for that person to go back to that same bank a few years later and deposit a large amount of funds? Is their even a remote possibility the bank could seize the funds or make life miserable in some way.

I wouldn't even remotely risk the hassle. First of all, they may refuse to even open an account for you. There are a lot of banks out there. Find somebody else.

Okay, thank you. the only reason I asked is because this particular bank is one of the safest in the country - but yes, it sounds like its not worth the risk.
