What is the name of your state? NY:

My husband was added on to one of my credit cards years later after I opened it. Its not a joint account just me adding him on to the account later. If I file for bankruptcy can they go after my husband for the amount owed if I am cleared thru bankruptcy.

No. Authorized users are NOT liable for the debt, only the primary on the card. Just make absolutely certain that the creditor doesn't have him as a joint account holder, MBNA is notorious for this, even when the 2nd person was only an AU.
