some questions

What is the name of your state? oregon

i'm currently a student. i sold my house about three months ago and i took the equity and bought a travel trailer. the in-laws helped out, we stuck the trailer in their name. i also bought a truck, paid half off, total value $30000. pretty much have no income except for a cost of living stipend from the v.a.

about 2 years ago had a minivan repo, and now hearing from a lawyers office we owe them $7000.

just wondering if a bankruptcy would be the easy answer for now. Just think it might look bad selling the house and three months later filing bankruptcy. also there is no way i would be able to pay or make payments on the seven thousand.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, that'll be a problem along with, taking the equity and buying assets in someone else's name.
You'll likely need to wait a year or better. Also, if $7000 is all of your debt, I don't think that's worth filing bk.
