| Yes, she will likely be held liable for the debt on that card, assuming she's a co-signer on the account.
Once your bankruptcy is discharged, the card issuer will probably still come after her for payment. If she doesn't want to ruin her credit, I suggest that she keep the payments current on the card during and after your bankruptcy.
Prior to filing, you may want to contact the card issuer and ask if they will take her completely off the account. If they agree, have them send it to you in writing. It's a long shot, and they probably won't do it. However, if they do, and the letter says that she's no longer responsible for the debt, she won't have to worry about it anymore if you file bankruptcy.
It may help if you tell tham that you're splitting up and you want to assume responsibility for the debt, or something along those lines.
