statute of limitations?

What is the statue of limitations for collections in the State of Maryland.

I know you are very busy, but any help or advice as to where to get help would be appreciated greatly

My response:

The Limitations period runs from the date of the debt, or from the date of the last payment on the debt. It also depends on the type of dept. For example, in Maryland, the Limitations periods are:

Oral Contract: 6 years

Written Contract: 3 years

Promisory Note: 6 years

Open Ended Account: 3 years
