student loan...

What is the name of your state? fl
can a student loan be discharged under certain circumstances?? I am very sick and have a chronic illness that my husband pays alot in medical bills with it a month. I heard sometimes they can discharge them with a hardship petition. Is this true??

It's tough. Courts apply what is known as the Brunner Test to see if they can be discharged. Do a google search using that term and see what you think.
