student loansI just found this site, thank goodness. I hope some of you gurus can lend me a hand..... i've searched and searched and can't seem to find any info, even posted to another forum to no avail. I am about to file Ch 7 (pro se....if i could afford an atty that's how i would do it, but i have no choice right now )I realize that I can not get my student loans discharged, but I can't find any info on where to list them on the bk forms. It seems like they would go on schedule e, but there's nothing listed on there for student loans. Any ideas?? I've heard that I HAVE to list em, but what happens if i don't?? Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to lend. This has got to be the scariest thing I've ever done. |

| Thanks Anadude, I appreciate your help. This may sound dumb, but...Like I said before, I know i can't discharge them, but do the Judge and the Trustee just look at the creditors listed and pick and choose which ones aren't discharged. I'm so scared I'm going to put those student loans in the wrong place and then get a ration of **it when I go to the 341 meeting. Or are they just going to tell me that those can not be discharged and just go about discharging the rest of my debt? I'm sorry if that didn't make any sense, but I don't know how else to word it. |

| you're just gonna get a general discharge of the debts from the judge, it won't list each creditor or anything like that (because a non-dischargeable (like ed loans) debt is considered not discharged unless there was an adversarial proceeding over it). |
