Student Loans

What is the name of your state?I live in Iowa.
Does anybody know the laws regarding student loans and credit reporting. I filed chap 7 two years ago. It was discharged. My student loan company is listing my student loans under bankruptcy. How can they do this since I have always paid on them, and have a perfect loan history. I thought you couldnt file bankruptcy on student loans? Why am I working so hard to rebuild my credit? This remark with my loans defeats the point of paying doesn't it? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It could just be an error on the part of the credit reporting agencies. Dispute it with them as not included in bankruptcy. You might also contact your loan provider and let them know how it is reporting.
