subcontractor files bankruptcy after stealing $1800 from usWhat is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?louisiana hi,I had a guy build our foundation for our house ,in the bid he was suppose to pay for the concrete out of the money we gave him to do the job. well he did not pay for the concrete and we had to, so we are out $1800. we got a judgment against him and now he filed chaper 7. we want to dispute this discharge since he committed fraud and took off with our money.we really do not want him to scam anyone else. we called his trustee and he said we could go to the meeting of creditors but it probably will not do any good. What do you guys think? will it be worth it to go to the meeting of creditors and explain how this guy scammed us? thank you! ![]() |

I have a question this guy got sued by a bank and they got a judgment against him.I noticed on the court docket about 2 months ago the BANK v. HIM and said PRODUCE. last week on the court docket it said BANK v. HIM and said CONTEMPT. How does this CONTEMPT affect this guy's chapter 7 bankrupcy? Thanks I am just curious! ![]() |
