Surrender of Vehicle Timetable?

What is the name of your state? WI

I have a question regarding the repossesion of a vehicle included in the bk. It has been discharged for 4 months. My wife bought this car in Michigan before moving over here. We have not heard anything in over 4 months from the company. She contacted them 3 weeks ago to get it picked up and they said"Oh yeah, it looks like you fell thru the cracks, but we'll have someone contact you to pick it up next week" How long do they drag their feet? Does this slip thru often, or do they wake up 2 years later and say..oh yeah! Where is our car? This was purchased 8 hours away and I don't know who has the loan now. My wife was routed 4 times to get the right person to talk to.
Thank You again to the people who answer our questions. And if you are here inquiring..Look around and read the posts. All of your questions here, answered. Take your time...

I've heard stories of people letting the vehicles go in bankruptcy and the banks NEVER came to pick it up ! There's just no way to tell how long it will take them. If you want to be rid of it and they don't come get it, I'd just keep calling them so you don't slip back down into that crack.
