thanks for the advicewhat is the name of your state?nc thanks for the advice so can you file chapter 7 and still keep your house? i thought that if you are behind chapter 13 would be the best alternative?? so let me understand this correctly! a plan will be set up to pay for secured debts and unsecured, would get what is left if any?????? what about creditors that been on a credit report for 5-7 years?? |

| There will be no plan set up to pay secured debt. You have to be able to make the payments asthey exist. This is true in a 7 or a 13. Unsecured debt in a 7 is wiped out. In a chapter 13, a 36=60 month repayment plan is arranged. You must list all creditors. See a lawyer. Most give free initial consultations. |
