Time limit by Trustee?I live in Orange County, California. I filed BK in early Dec 2003 after medical bills killed me. I had re-financed my house 2x before to pay the bills but now the value was the same as the loans, aka no more equity. The Trustee has been nickle and diming everything. My wife got a bonus in April 2004, which the Trustee took. Now she saying that the value of my house has gone up because the market has gone up. She has re-calculated everything and now she wants me to come up withr $20,000 to give her before she will discharge the BK. Now, it's not my fault the the value of my place went up during the 7 months she's been playing around. Can she just keep this going as long as she wants, taking every cent I get? I don't have $20,000, even if I sell my place I still have new medical bills that will eat all of it. What should I do? |

| The Trustee has been jerking you around for SEVEN months ??? Good grief Do you have a lawyer or did you file pro se ?? Did you file jointly with your wife ? When was your 341 meeting ? What were the Trustee's previous reasons for 'nickle and diming' you and delaying your discharge ?
