What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri
I have been discharge from bankruptcy. The finance company who finance my car had it repossess. I contacted them, they returned my car in about 12 hours. They said they made a mistake. They later called me and ask if I wanted to settle on the car, the person I talked to did not know I had got the car back. I told them I have the car and they said they didn't know why they returned it. My bankruptcy lawyer said that my car was paid off in the bankruptcy. I can not drive now without worrying if my car will be repo again. I would like to know if I can do something about damage since I felt violated when they took my car and what do I need to do to stop worrying about the car being repo again.
