transfer of ownership?

What is the name of your state? Idaho

My son bought a car using my credit and he made the payments. We put both our names on the title. He's paid off the car. I'm considering Ch.7. Can I have my name removed from the title, or would that be considered transfer of ownership? TIA, mehkeh

Since the ownership was joint, I don't know that it would be looked at the same way as if your name had been the only name on the title. At the worst, you'd only have a 50% interest in it anyway.
