value of personal propertyWhat is the name of your state? south carolina. s.c. allows $2,500 in personal property to be exempt. is there a standard somewhere i can use to value things like clothes, kitchen (i guess they mean dishes, pots, toaster, etc.) furniture? my things seem priceless to me but i don't think i could sell them for much of anything. |

| To value personal property you use GARAGE SALE prices - that should allow you to get it all exempted. You don't want to make anything 'sentimental' , its 'old' ![]()
