Victory is sweet.

What is the name of your state? Oregon. We went to court this morning and our former landlord called for a dismissal. Our former landlord/property management co was counting on us not showing. They conviently had all the notices placed on our old residence and they figured we wouldn't know about the hearing, since we know longer resided there. We wouldn't show up and they would get an automatic judgment. When we walked in this morning the look on their face was priceless. Our landlord even asked us why we were there and we told her to protect our interest. She told us then she was glad we showed up since she was going to have it dismissed. Sounds to me like we ruined their day, there plan was for us not to show up and win. Victory is sweet and its nice to have something work in our favor since filed bankruptcy.
