New York State
If I lose a commercial lawsuit and the court approves a heavy judgment against me, are my Social Security checks and IRA accounts protected from the judgment. Can these assets be seized to collect on the judgement? What other assets are protected from a judgment in New York.
Do you know where I can find a list of the regulations pertaining to this issue in ALL OTHER states? For example, I understand a judgment can't touch a person's home in Florida, etc. Thanks.
