what date do they use

What is the name of your state?oh What date is used for the filing? The day the money is paid & you fill out paperwork at attny's office, or does it take a few days for the attny to file electronically, and that date is used? thanks

Date filed

Its the date that the paperwork is actually recorded by the court. How long between when you pay your money and when the attorney gets it filed and recorded varies...I've heard of some cases where the attorney didn't get around to actually filing for months.
