What is the next step once you've received a Case No?

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? Texas

My husband and I recently filed BK at the very end of Dec. 2004. The process was to fill out a volunary petition form. Reviewed, signed and submitted to the lawyer. Shortly after I received a case no and was advised to use that when the creditors call. A few days later, I received a form to sign and mail to the SS office. What has happened or what is going on at this point and time?
Still receiving phone calls from the creditors. Esp. from one that states they received a notice that I filed. She calls to tell me that they will see me in court.
I'd like to be prepared for what I am up against and hate surprises. Please Advise.
