What will happen?

What is the name of your state? Louisiana

On November 12, my husband will be filing for Chapter 7 in Missouri. Yesterday I printed a copy of my credit reports, and 2 of his accounts show on my report, because I am an authorized user. How exactly will this effect my credit once he files? What will it show for those 2 accounts on my credit reports?..Thanks.

Do the reports show you as an AU?

Yes, my credit report from 1 of the 3 bureaus shows me as an authorized user. I thought about having him call before he files and having me removed as an au that way they can't report anything on mine. Will that work?

Yeah, try and get yourself removed before filing. Hang on to that credit report that shows you as an AU forever. What about the other 2 reporting agencies?

It only shows on 2 of them. Do I want to hold onto that one just to prove that all I ever was was an authorized user?
