I bought a custom-made computer, paid 50% deposit up front, paid the balance on delivery, all with credit card. 3-4 weeks later, the store called and informed me they had miscalculated the total, and there was a $240 balance due, then sent me the bill. Four months later, they sent a second notice, threatening to send it to a collection agency. Am I legally liable for this after-the-fact bill, even though it was their error?

no it is not your fault, dispute it and then make sure you complain to the department of consumer affairs
