virginia; worked as an independent contractor and company has said an audit revealed i was overpaid ???? - they said errors were noted in my billings to them back to jan 2001 - all invoices were paid by them to me at the time. can they go back and now say they were wrong and should not have paid them? they were correct billings or they wouldn't have paid them at the time.?
