Georgia. I co-signed a loan that was paid off. Then I agreed to co-sign a second loan which is being paid for now. The second loan was obtained via the first loan which was an open credit line. It states that the borrower or the co-signer cat get money at will if the credit union decides to let them have it. The original term of the first loan was 3000 dollars. It was paid in full the second loan is 8000. Since the contract states the term as 3000 and it was satisfied am I still liable for the 8000 if they don't pay or can I refuse on the grounds that the terms of the contract were met at 3000.
