I just bought A used car yesterday wrote out a check. now car is developing problems what will happen if I return the car and stop payment on the check other than the dealer getting p.o:confused:

Never stop payment on a check in a circumstance like this.

Better to go back and politely ask for help with the problem.

Used car buyers should not buy "as is". If they won't give a warrenty there's usually a good reason. You can bet their
mechanic looked at it.

If it covers your problem then you're golden.

Stopping payment on a check can get people into a lot of legal
trouble.
