I'm in the state of OHIO.

My wife let a backyard mechanic fix her car. A simple gas line leak. The guy never called back with an estimate, he just fix more then just the gas line to a tune of $500.00.
The car is a 1987 Olds Cutlas and is not even worth $500.00.

Can I just go and get my car, remove all the parts that he did not ask to install, and give them back to him? I will pay him for only the work that he was supposed to do. He took advantage of my wife because she is a female.

I'm hoping for a quick responce because I need to do this tomorrow, I just dont want to get arrested. Thanks!!
