we live in nc and we recently sold our 95 dodge intrepid to a lady here in town. she signed a contract to pay $700.00 down, then two other payments equal to 3000.00 total. her last payment is due on the 19th of this month. she has paid the $700.00 down and now she says she does not want to buy the car anymore. however, we stated in the contract that she signed that once the deposit was made if she changed her mind all monies were nonrefundable. Do we have to give her any of the money back?we lost many potential buyers during this time . and also, if she decides to pay off the car, do we have to give any kind of grace period?
